Charles Knoll, MD

Charles Knoll, MD graduated from Yale University and the Medical College of Virginia, and went on to the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago where he served as Chief Resident. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  After practicing at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine for several years, he moved to San Diego to pursue a fellowship in Hypnotherapy and Altered States Therapy at the Institute of Thought. He continues to practice medicine in San Diego.

Dr. Knoll is a co-founder of the Altered States Research Group (ASRG), an organization dedicated to investigating the Mind and its impact on physical health through rigorously designed medical research on altered states of consciousness.  At ASRG he collaborates with Mishlyn Verdon, AST, CHt, Alternative Healing Practitioner and Family Counselor, to research asthma, diabetes, chronic pain, and other conditions using Precision Altered States Therapy.
